In the vast and wondrous realm of the internet, few topics have sparked as much fascination and controversy as the enigmatic PolkaDot Mushroom Chocolate. While some claim it’s a game-changing gastronomic experience, others dismiss it as a mere myth, a figment of the imagination.

But we should all note that there have been different brands of Polkadot mushroom chocolate floating around the internet marketplace. Not all these Polkadot chocolate bars are authentic or contain organic mushroom extract.

Our PolkaDot mushroom chocolate does not contain Amanita muscaria. After 4-ACO was exposed, many of these amanita companies switched over to using non-detect analogs. This is when things became even more dangerous as any lab can explain that non-detect can mean anything.

To test a product, you must let the lab know the exact compound you want to test so that the chromatography machine can detect it. That means added THC can be non-detect, and even worse, something the brands themselves don’t even know.

Please do NOT consume “Polk A Dot” bars with amanita on the packaging and circular NFC verification stickers. These counterfeit bars have flooded the smoke shop market and are extremely dangerous! Thousands of smoke shop owners were lied to believing these products were authentic PolkaDot products. Instead, these counterfeits contain synthetic chemicals.

Important note:

PolkaDot is NOT affiliated with Polk A Dot! We urge everyone to test their products from their vendors through Tryptomics and Hyphae Labs before consuming them. To guarantee a safe product, please order directly from our website at PolkaDot Chocolate Shop. PLEASE be safe everyone!

At PolkaDot, we believe in the integrity of our products and that if nature has an answer, it’s best to keep it that way. We use strictly organic grown mushrooms (psilocybe cubensis) in our products.

The Dangers of Consuming Fake Polkadot Mushroom Products

An article published by UC San Diego titled “Unregulated Sales of a Toxic and Hallucinogenic Mushroom Endanger Public Health“, shows that Americans’ interest in a potentially harmful “magic mushroom” is soaring, with Google searches skyrocketing 114 percent from 2022 to 2023, according to a new study by researchers at the University of California San Diego Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science.

In a paper published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, the scientists suggest that the growing market for Amanita muscaria may be partly sparked by emerging clinical research supporting the safety and efficacy of psilocybin as a treatment for depression.

Like psilocybin mushrooms, Amanita muscaria mushrooms have psychotropic effects. These include a feeling of weightlessness, visual and auditory hypersensitivity, space distortion, unawareness of time, and colored hallucinations. The psychotropic effects are produced by compounds that naturally occur in the mushroom called muscimol and ibotenic acid, its biosynthetic precursor.

However, in addition to being psychotropic, these compounds can also be more toxic than fentanyl, cocaine, and PCP, according to the scientists’ review of estimates from published mouse studies.
